How It Works

Over the course of your treatment, I spend time getting to know you. This helps me to understand the context of your symptoms. Diet, medical history, lifestyle, and emotional factors can influence your digestive system so it's crucial that all of these aspects are taken into consideration alongside any test results.

This approach is highly supportive and as such, treatment involves regular check-in and feedback sessions. This allows us to monitor progress, navigate the treatment, and ensure recommendations remain relevant.

Consultation Framework

From helping many people recover from a wide range of gut-related issues, I now work from my 3R-framework.

This is tailored to work for your specific digestive complaints to bring about change that lasts.

REMOVE

Remove the strain from the digestive system.

REPAIR

Identify and repair the underlying issue.

RESTORE

Restore and strengthen the gut.

Where We Focus

There are a number of areas of your health and broader wellbeing that we’ll examine to understand and address the root cause of your symptoms.

Diet and Nutrient Status

Exploring your current diet and food reactions.

Health and Medical History

How and when your symptoms began as well as your overall health, helps identify the underlying imbalances.

Environmental Factors

Disruptions to the digestive system can result from factors from our environment.

Emotional Wellbeing

Our emotional state and levels of stress have a considerable impact on the digestive system.

I view the relationship I have with my patients as a partnership.

Since the process is dynamic and gut issues may respond quickly to the changes, I find regular contact and feedback sessions are best.

This allows us to keep all the recommendations relevant and our approach up to date.

It also prevents you from remaining on a specific stage of treatment for a prolonged period of time when you’re ready for the next step in the process.

The aim of this is to support you as well as possible and to help you feel better, quicker.
